IIFAC offers training and consulting services in Outcome Mapping, since they fit with our commitment to help change-oriented groups be more effective by applying participative processes.

Outcome Mapping is a participatory method for planning, monitoring and evaluating change initiatives.  While most commonly used in the context of development projects, this versatile approach has proven useful in organizational change processes and other situations where change in human behavior is a key success factor and quantitative indicators do not tell the whole story.

Outcome Mapping provides fresh, systematic approach to the basic questions any change initiative needs to answer.

  • What shared vision inspires the change process?
  • What is the scope of our initiative?
  • Who are our partners?
  • How can they contribute to the vision?
  • What behavioral and relationship changes do we hope to see?
  • What support can we provide to encourage those changes?

  • What are our monitoring priorities?
  • What data do we need?
  • Who will use the information – and for what?
  • When is the information needed?
  • Who will collect it and how?
